Ulcerative colitis medications during pregnancy?
I've been struggling with active UC for 2yrs. After 2mths of remission, I became pregnant and flared up again pretty much the minute I conceived My specialist has recommended I continue taking Mesasal tablets and use Pentasa suppositories to control the flare up. I am now almost 12wks. Any advice? Tips? Recommendations?

i have suffered with ulcerative colitis for four yea rs. i have tried predisolone, asacol and none of it works but i am worried because my consultant wants me to try a new medication that would help. although the consequences are reduced effectness of immune system bi monthly blood tests.so i was wondering is it a good idea to take aloe vera juice instead of this medicationition.webmd.com hw inflammatory bowel tw1904.aspthis is medication which my doctor would like me start with.
